Another watercolor of my favorite plant.

This plant roots easily in water.  It is more commonly seen as a house plant in a pot.   This is a watercolor.

The Chinese photenia is probably my favorite plant.  It grows as big as a small tree and has lovely, paintable leaves and in the spring wonderful blooms that looks sort of like a hydrangea.

Photenia leaves turn brilliant red in the fall.
