This is a very small painting, only 6×8! There is sort of a rough texture to it that lends interest to the pose.

Reyno, Arkansas
I was mostly interested in the roof of this small house! Reyno, Arkansas is a small town in east Arkansas. I have done several houses in this area.
French doors
I liked the French door look of this painting. The mass of pot plants was an added feature.
Front Porch
The challenge to me in this painting was the perspective! It is mostly successful, I think, in depicting an old fashioned porch. I am beginning to be interested in architectural structures.
September Morning in the Country
The center of interest in this painting is clearly the two small structures on the right hand side. A road leads the eye into the picture. It is 12 x 16.
