Durant Erecta Plant

I love this plant! Mine has been growing in a pot for several years, and covers itself with blue flowers all summer. I have read that the plant is toxic, but I am apparently not allergic to it, because I have noticed nothing. This is the first time I have painted it. For further information, click here.

Red and Gold Glory

I should have shown this lovely fall landscape last year, but the oil paint was extra heavy and took a long time to dry. It is on a canvas panel, 8 x 10, which will fit almost any commercial frame. For further information, click here.

Blue Bowl and Flowers # 2

This is the same blue bowl that I featured in last Sunday’s blog. I changed the flowers and the geometric background up. For more information on this painting, click here.

Zennias in a Porcelain Bowl

I love zinnias and several years ago had many wonderful plants that produced several hundred flowers. This oil painting is on a wood panel. For more information, click here.

Pumpkin and Annie, Framed!

These are two recent pet portraits! The lady who bought them had them beautifully framed and I wanted to show Pumpkin and Annie in their frames! These are Goldendoodles. I have also placed them in my Dailypaintworks gallery along with other pet portraits. Pumpkin’s portrait was purchased at an auction for the Pulaski County Humane Society, a wonderful organization that saves the lives of hundreds of dogs and other animals. I try to donate a painting each year and many people bid to have their pet featured in a painting.

Teapot and Three Apples

This oil painting is on a wood panel. It is 8 x 10 inches and the wood panel is about 1/4 inch thick. For further information, click here.
