I wonder what you were thinking, too. If I had painted this, I would think that my inner masculine spiritual authority was inviting me (my ego) to follow him deeper into the mystery of my soul. Being fully dressed for a Holy service, I would think his message is that what we will discover there will be something Holy to celebrate. I would also think that by virtue of putting this on canvas, my ego has accepted the invitation–at least, is wanting to accept the invitation.
