This is a small 8 x10 painting.

There are three main sections in this 20 x 24 painting–a shadow in the foreground, then a white area, and finally a darker section where the house is located. Three areas in a picture help to establish distance.

Road to the Barn is 12 x 16. I was primarily interested in painting a dirt road and the barn was a second thought! The painting of the barn on the hillside is 14 x 18 and this time a simple dirt path leads to the barn.

This is a 12 x 16 painting, an early beginning to my interest in painting urban scenes. I will show more urban paintings later.

Same landscape, slightly different place and certainly a few months later!

I like to work on landscapes because I dearly love trees!

This fantasy shows an angel and an elephant with large spirit orbs against a rural background. I had fun doing this one!
When I did this painting I was thinking about how a large elephant is always in the room when people are talking. An elephant is something that everyone knows about but no one dares to mention. But it is always there waiting!

This is a study of snow! I can’t remember where this idea came from.
