This 6 x 8 painting on panel was inspired by a sketch I made in Randolph County, around the area of Maynard, Arkansas. Notice the bent mail box. It used to be a favorite prank of teenagers to try to hit mail boxes. I’ve had to replace several! Click hereto see the price of the painting or to learn more about it.

Fall in Heber Springs, Arkansas
This is a large painting–24 x 36–and could make a very striking focal point for a room! It will look good in a barn wood frame. The canvas was given to me by a very good friend who lives close to Heber Springs, Arkansas so I decided to name the painting for her! The foliage is very heavily textured. Ozark Cabin in Early Fall
This is an oil painting on a canvas panel. I like the contrast between red and blue. To see more about this painting, click here.
Colors of Fall
This is an oil painting, very heavily textured. It is part of a series of fall paintings I did in oil for my September posts. Click here for more information or to see others in the series.
Lakeside, Arkansas
Lakeside is a small community south of Little Rock with many charming cabins, a club house, and, of course, a lake. This impressionistic canvas panel oil painting is 8 x 10. Click here for more information.
Landscape in Gold
This is an oil painting. The leaves are heavily textured and brush marks and palette knife marks are clearly visible. It is 16 x 20 and would be the focal point for a room. If you would like to have more information about it or look at other new paintings (I have posted ten or 12 new ones) click here to go to my Daily Paintworks online gallery.
Water Birds
I first saw water birds near a park called Belle Slough near Mayflower, Arkansas. These birds may be Blue Herons or possibly one is a crane. These are small oil paintings on 5 x 7 canvas panels. For more information on the Blue Heron click here. For information on the crane painting click here. These links will take you to my Daily Paintworks gallery where you can see other birds and other types of paintings.
Wild Summer Rose
This painting is on traditional linen canvas on stretcher bars. It is very heavily textured and the paint strokes stand out! The edges of the painting are carefully painted so that it can be hung without a frame if desired. Read more about it by clicking here.
Something New!!
I am trying something new–an auction of two small oil paintings on my Daily Paint Works online gallery. You can see the oil paintings in my gallery by clicking here. There you can click on one of the two bird paintings if you want to know how to place a bid.
These are both small 7″ x 5″ oil paintings. The first painting is a Rainbow Bunting, found in Mexico.
The second oil painting is a Golden Fronted Fruit Sucker found in places like Thailand and Cambodia. These are aviary birds, too, and can be seen in many zoos.
Landscape with two figures
This is another summer landscape. It is a 10 x 14 oil painting.
